Dress to Playsuit

So, as my boyfriend and I are currently buying a house, I have had very little spare money to spend on clothes for our summer holiday(we fly out to Menorca Saturday 31st). This has meant most of my sewing has been low budget and holiday orientated. I found this dress in a charity shop for £3.99 and as soon as I saw it wanted to turn it into a playsuit.

Firstly, I removed the weird skirt from the bottom.

I then lowered the neckline slightly and shortened the top but left enough for it to bag at the waist. Using the skirt I then made the shorts following tutorials from other blogs and then joined the two and voilà! Feel free to leave a comment!
